Today is the day! The Pingree community is coming together to reach a shared goal: 500 gifts in 24 hours to celebrate everything that makes this school Pingree. From the pioneering Class of 1964 to the students in the halls today, our shared purpose remains the same: encouraging risks, sparking passions, and fostering lifelong connections. Giving Day is our chance to spotlight the enduring hallmarks of the Pingree experience that have threaded through generations, binding together our alumni and student community.

What is The Pingree Fund?
Independent schools rely on annual philanthropy to help bridge the gap not covered by tuition and endowment income. The Pingree Fund is a collective, community-driven fund that provides resources that sustain core programs and to fulfill the school’s mission. Each year, we rely on this critical support that strengthens Pingree School and impacts every student, every faculty member, and every aspect of our program.
Who supports The Pingree Fund?
Pingree School is grateful for the inspiring commitment from its parents, alumni, grandparents, parents of alumni, faculty and staff, and friends who have provided philanthropic support to the school since its founding in 1961.
Why is participation so important?
Gifts of any size make an impact and demonstrate your belief and confidence in Pingree’s mission and leadership. By making a gift to the Pingee Fund, you join a community of giving that is a signal of strength, supporting all aspects of the Pingree experience.
Can I designate my gift within The Pingree Fund?
Yes, you can direct your gift to an annual priority that is meaningful to you, including unrestricted support of the Pingree Fund (the area of greatest need), Prep@Pingree, and the Head’s Fund for Innovation.
How do corporate matching gifts work?
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees, retirees, and/or spouses. Taking advantage of these programs can double or sometimes triple the impact of your giving. If your company is eligible, simply request a matching gift form from your employer and send it completed and signed with your gift to Pingree. We will take care of the rest.
